Join us for our final full day in Vegas and our travel home day. In todays vlog we try out Wally's wine and spirits in resorts world and have a fantastic breakfast and brunch. We hop around the strip gambling in Park MGM, Aria and Cosmo before heading off strip to Tuscany Suites. We enjoyed some craft beers at pub 365 and some decent wins for Russell. We then headed back to the Cosmopolitan for more slot action and enjoyed a dinner at China Poblano. We headed back to Resorts World to get ready for the Brett Young concert, Russell dressed up head to toe in Cowboy and we went out to enjoy a night of slots and country music. We checked out of Resorts world, headed to Suns Out Buns Out for a bite of breakfast then headed out back to LAX and into the Emirates Business Class Lounge. A short 24 hours later we were back in our home town Dubai! Lennon was hurt by the criticism he received from the New Left and subsequently advocated the need for a Marxist revolution, particularly with his 1971 single "Power to the People". However, in one of the last interviews he gave before his death in 1980, he reaffirmed the pacifist feelings expressed in “Revolucion”. "Revolution" peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and topped the singles charts in Australia and New Zealand. "Revolution" received praise from music critics, mainly for the intensity of the performance and the heavily distorted guitar sound. Despite Lennon's anti-war sentiments, he had not yet become anti-establishment and expressed in "Revolution" that he wanted to "see the plan" of those who advocated the overthrow of the system. [21] In author Mark Hertsgaard's description, the lyrics advocate social change but emphasize that "political actions [should] be judged on moral rather than ideological grounds." The repeated phrase "it's going to be okay" came directly from Lennon's Transcendental Meditation experiences in India, conveying the idea that God would care for the human race no matter what happened politically.
