Comentó que varias instituciones públicas realizarán una encuesta anónima sobre las apuestas virtuales, para poder hacer un diagnóstico de la situación local. “Se estima que uno de cada tres jóvenes están vinculados a este tipo de apuestas”, agregó. Da Souza mencionó dos casos ocurridos en Buenos Aires de suicidio e intento de suicidio de adolescentes por apostar en línea. “Por esto es necesario hablar de la problemática en familia y conocer cuántos chicos están afectados por esto, para poder modificar políticas públicas desde el Estado”.
