Sin embargo, debido a limitaciones de espacio, se puede conectar un mosaico en ángulo recto, creando una L en el diseño Si un jugador no tiene un dominó de valor equivalente, debe elegir un dominó del "boneyard", que es la pila boca abajo de fichas de dominó restantes.
