In den Kurvenweichen von Carrera sind Kabelbrücken verbaut, was zu folgenden Problemen führen kann, wenn man diese nicht entfernt: 1. Ein Rennen mit zwei analogen Fahrzeugen gegeneinander wäre nicht möglich, da ein Regler jeweils beide Fahrspuren gleichzeitig regeln würde. 2. Es könnte ein Digital-Decoder zerstört werden, wenn man die Variante des Dualbetriebs nutzt, bei der man gleichzeitig auf einer Spur digital und auf der anderen analog fahren kann.
