Un corto circuito pudo ser el causante del incendio en la Plaza Cinépolis Entrevistado en el lugar del siniestro, el director de Protección Civil del estado, Roy Navarrete, comentó que la posible causa del incendio fue un corto circuito, sin embargo, destacó la necesidad de esperar el dictamen oficial de este incidente para conocer y precisar el origen del fuego.
